Open Mini Modified Tractors

Open Mini Modified (A class) are those using any combination of Automotive, Marine, Aircraft or turbine engine(s), transmission(s) and final drive. There is no limit to the capacity. Blowers and Turbo-charging is permitted.

Open Mini Modified (B Class) are those using any combination of automotive, marine, aircraft or turbine engine(s) up to a maximum of 410 cubic inch. Blowers and Turbo-charging is permitted. Open Mini tractors are permitted the use of Engine Management Systems. Weight classes are:

9. 950 kg, including driver and safety apparel

No portion of an open mini modified tractor may exceed 8 feet forward of the centre of the rear wheel, including removable ballast. No portion of the tractor shall exceed 6 feet in width. Legal fuels are Alcohol including methanol, Water, Aviation Gas, Diesel, Kerosene, ULP, Nitrous Oxide and Premium Unleaded. A maximum of 20% Nitro Methane is allowed as fuel additive.
